CNN explains in the video below how donors can ‘buy’ delegates at a contested convention. Of course, if a delegate can be ‘bought’ at all, then they are probably of very low character and principle. But there will be thousands of delegates there and we’d be naive to think this kind of horse trading weren’t happening
